Here is an impression of the Skype talk we had with Garrett Moore from #StandWithCongo after the When Elephants Fight screening.

Altogether there were about 40 people watching the documentary and there were a lot of questions afterwards regarding the impact of the documentary, the progress of the movement and the latest developments in the DRC.

A big thank you to GLOBAL 2000 for providing us with the room, a great organic buffet and for spreading the word about the screening in their network. This way we could reach many more people!

The 4th Austrian Fairphoners meetup took place on 13th December 2016. We celebrated our 2nd anniversary at the Global2000 offices in Vienna.

At first we watched the short movie Circular Cellular. Then we watched photos from last year (click through the “Past events” section in the first post!) and the trailer @Stanzi made about the #efct16. In the end of the presentation we could also show a 10 minutes video @Douwe made, where he told us about the milestones Fairphone reached in 2016 and what they are up to in 2017. He also said thank you for our engagement.

After the presentation we ate the vegan cake @paulakreuzer brought to the meetup and talked for about 2 hours about our wishes from Fairphone for 2017.

Altogether we were 7 people at the meetup, including @EvaS, @paulakreuzer, @Stanzi, @werner_noebauer, @z3ntu and me.

I’m really looking forward to next year’s events! :slight_smile:

cooles Motto für das Treffen im März! ich hoffe, dass Signal bis dahin schon ohne GCM auskommt, dann kann ich auch endlich auf die Google freie Seite wechseln! :slight_smile:
