So wie es aussieht schaffe ich es morgen erstmalig zu einem Austrian Fairphoners Treffen - und das obwohl mir mein FP1 schon seit 3 Jahren gute Dienste leistet.
Aber über das FP2 kann ich mich ja schon mal informieren!
Jedoch hätte ich doch eine Frage zum FP1:
Könnte mir morgen jemand zeigen wie ich den Staub in meiner Kameralinse entferne?
Die Staubschicht ist leider schon ziemlich ausgeprägt…

Jap, wir werden einen Tisch mit Troubleshooting und Reparaturwerkstatt haben. Da können wir deine Linse von Staub befreien!

We a had real nice evening, met some forum members in person (@Soprano, @rainer_zufall, @maette, @_ralph), showed the Arte documentary, detached some FP1, tried to fix them, fixed some of them, had interesting chats,… thanks to all for coming

Altogether we were about 25 participants (people were coming and going)! I feel so happy about this! 
It was the biggest “real” Austrian Fairphoners meetup of all times!

Danke an das Team der Austrian Fairphoners für die Organisation des Treffens! Es war großartig, dass ich mein FP1 mit eurer Hilfe (besonderer Dank an @Stefan !) öffnen und warten konnte.
Leider kam ich zu spät für den Film bzw. hab ich erst hier in der Nachlese davon erfahren. Um welchen Film handelte es sich und ist der auch im Netz zu finden?

Hi all!
I am in Vienna this week, and my Fairphone 2’s touch screen decided to die [*]. I wrote to Fairphone support and they told me that my screen module should be replaced. However, that will take a while, because they had to temporarily stop and adjust their production line for the FP2v2 production.
So I’d like to ask, just in case: Is there anyone with an otherwise defective FP2 whose screen module is working? If so, I’d be willing to buy it from you
[*] It is usable, but with a handicap. There is this vertical line across the middle of my screen whose clicks get rerouted to either the left or the right side of this line. As a result, I cannot type a v or a g, unless I either use autocorrect or turn my phone to landscape mode. There are also other things I cannot click, but mostly issues I can work around. Most buttons are big enough to still respond.

I sent one to Fairphone with just cosmetic defects but unfortunately they kept it so I can’t give it to you… Good luck finding a replacement!
