I am applying for a grant to support my charity - which aims to distribute used and new phones among vulnerable refugees in the European refugee crisis. A phone helps give refugees opportunities, keep in contact with loved ones, and avoid danger and exploitation.
Fairphone was suggested to me as a venture that may be co-operative, but its prices don’t seem too encouraging…
Does anyone have an idea of how to combine Fairphone’s ethical responsibility with the ability to charitably donate?
