My FP1 has been completely useless since last night for no apparent reason (it didn’t fall, nor get wet). The screen seems to have a life of its own, as if someone was touching it, especially the bottom part of it. I can’t do anything anymore with the phone…
I changed the screen a few months ago, it all went well and the phone has been working perfectly well since then, except for today…
I tried to perform a touchscreen test, unfortunatelly, I couldn’t do it because the phone navigates on its own from top to bottom and I can’t select anything…
Has anyone ever had this problem? How did you solve it?
I have finally managed to perform a touchscreen test, and here is the result : no matter what part of the screen I touch, a line immediatly appears and goes down to the bottom right corner of the screen.
I don’t know what this means, as this is the 1st time I perform this test…
It means that the display has a hardware malfunction and needs to be replaced. Contact support and attach the picture above.
Displays are currently not in stock, but maybe there are some left for warranty cases?
