I got this new FP6 and forgot about checking, if it’s compatible with the Dexcom G7 - App. Guess it’s not.
I asked both supports (FP and G7) about compability. And it looks like, I only have a chance, if lot of people think, it’s an important thing to work on.
I ask you for your support, to vote up this post, so FP can see how much interest is in here for people with Diabetic Type I.
Ofc it’s also my bad, I didnt check the compability. But I would hardly appreciate your help for Diabetics.
Juggluco is a FOSS app able to read a lot of sensors, often with way more features than the original apps. My wife relies on it, using freestyle sensors, xdrip, and sending the data on a wristband watch. See https://www.juggluco.nl/
If I see it right it’s a Glucose Monitoring Device?
If you take a look at the list of compatible devices there are all major vendors listed…
I would totally expect the device and app to work fine, but it will be very hard to gain a phone as officially supported. (i. e. many vendors of third party devices may require the phone vendor to lend a device for testing etc.)
If you want to get a better view on the topic you will have to ask, what are Dexcoms requirements for listing a device as supported AND what technical specifications are needed.
