Happened today again, but for the first time on the FP4 of my partner.
She tried all the USB-C cables we have, none of them operated.
Restart solved the problem. No issues anymore.
I have a âbugâ where regardless of charger, or orientation my phone will not charge, in the service menu it reads out as -1500mA so I suspect that the charging port might be damaged, but the phone still reads out as charging
I have heard the USB-C port from the FP5 will work in the FP4, if you want to get a replacement.
Same for me. Phone stops charging. There is a familiar sound and vibration after plugging in the cable, but the real charging requires restart. I had to do it ~5 times in the past already. I had once a case when a restart didnât help and another restart was required.
Why would you do that? Theyâre not out of stock.
I wouldnât recommend using a part for FP5 in a FP4. They may look similar but theyâre not identical.
