Carrier network display name disable but still displayed

I always disable the display of carrier network name because of the front camera.
On A14, the option was disabled and it never showed.

Since A15 is installed, the option is still disabled but some times, the name is displayed.
When I pull down the notification tray, it disappear.

I tired to enable it and disable it again but it didn’t change anything.

Do you also have this bug ?

I think it might be linked to the wallpaper resetting bug.

Yep, I’ve got the same bug. Hoping it gets fixed in the next update.

Exactly the same behavior

Kind of annoying because it hides notification icons and we have to unroll the notification tray to see them

Same problem…

I’ve enabled and disabled it a numerous amount of time.

I like to keep it disabled as this don’t serve any purpose.

But it systematically pop up when any notifications appears.

Really annoying, and the last software update does not take care of it…

I wonder what the devs are doing… really… no bug corrections since A15 rolled out. It’s becoming cringe at this point…

I would guess that the operating system is not developed in Europe but by service providers in India or China. Marketing and design (website, user interface) are based in Europe. Depending on how many development days and how many software developers have been booked, it can take a long time or even a very long time for changes to be made.

True and off-topic, so @all kindly stick to the topic and dont porceed with any general discussion.
