Cant record from bluetooth microphone

I have looked around on this forum but cant seem to find any answer to this issue.

So i just bought a DJI Mic 2 microphone which is supposed to be compatible with android through bluetooth. I can record with it by itself, and i can pair it with my FairPhone 4 (android version 13, build FP4.TP2N.C.0128.20241030) but i cant choose it as input in any of the many recording apps i have tried. After watching several youtube videos of others being able to use this microphone with different apps, i am starting to suspect that i have maybe changed some settings that might have caused this problem.

Do any of you FairPhone 4 users use a bluetooth microphone for voice recording, and if so, which app/settings worked for you?

I have a similar issue with headphones: the speakers work, but the microphone does not - the phone keeps using the phone microphone.

I have tested it with two different pairs of headphones - they work as expected with a PC, but not with FP4.
I have also tested it with another independent FP4 - same behaviour.

I suspect that this is an FP4 issue. You can find a few similar topics on the forum, but they typically get few responses and get closed over time. I’m not sure how to attract the community’s and the developers’ attention to the issue.
