Can one simcard be swiched of temporarly?

I’m thinking about bying an second simcard to separete work and private life in a better way. But this is only interessting if one simcard can be swiched off during night or holiday etc. Anyone who knows?

Im pretty sure in setting there is a toggle to switch off/disable sim. I have a murena FP5 and I have that function.

Yes, there is.
It’s in the Settings/Network/SIM settings.

But I’d suggest to simply use the “Do not Disturb” feature (Settings/Digital Wellbeing): You can tell it to not allow the phone to ring for specified groups on a schedule.
Like, from Friday evening to Monday morning, all “Work” contacts are muted.

If you disable the SIM you need to remember to do (and undo) it, which will get old fast. “Do not disturb” is automatic, and can even be switched on instantly.
I use it to prevent clients from calling in at (too) ungodly times, while still leaving family & friends able to call (in case of emergency).

Thanks for your ideas! On my FP4 I don’t get the feature “Do not disturbe” to work properly. I’ve tried to have “do not disturbe” but allowing one alarm from a specific app to go throug. But it turned out I didn’'t get the alarme either. The app is a blodsuger alarme for my son with diabites so it is really important. On my phone earlier (a samsung) that worked without problems. But do you get that do-not disturbe to work on your phone? A fp4?

Yes, and yes, but I admit I have only one exception app, so I don’t really know if they always work: My exception is Signal, and till now nobody tried to contact me on Signal after midnight…
The rest works quite well.
