Hi everyone,
I recently bought the new Fairphone 6 in green. Together with the phone, I also bought the official case, the charger, and the official screen protector from the store. The phone itself is fantastic and I am very happy with it!
However, there is one accessory that I really miss in the official store: a camera lens protector.
While the official case has a small raised lip to protect the cameras when placing the phone on a table, it is not high enough to protect them from a bad fall. If the phone falls against an uneven surface or a sharp edge, the lenses will break because they have no direct protection. I think having an official, high-quality camera lens protector would be the perfect addition to the catalog.
Also, as a small detail about the ergonomics: I noticed that the volume buttons are placed in a position where, if you hold the phone with your left hand, it is very easy to press them by accident.
Apart from that minor layout issue, the phone is absolutely brilliant and deserves a top score. I live here in the Netherlands, close to the headquarters, and I hope the team in Amsterdam takes this feedback into account for future updates and accessories!
What do you all think? Thanks!
Hello and welcome to the community forum
Just a quick note, you can buy camera screen protectors from a third party
The example would be
But it would be a niche product, need, I guess. Please note that the camera lenses are protected by the user replaceable cover
