Hello everyone, after much research, I was unable to find a good quality and reliable rear camera protection screen.

What did you put on your cameras to protect them faithfully?

I am not 100 % sure I understand what you are after, but I take it that you want to protect the cameras inside your FP5 from physical damage (drops, scratches, other impact shocks).

Now first of all the actual cameras are not openly exposed at the surface. The housing of your FP5 already has protective glass “bull’s eyes” which is what you see (the “triangle”) on the rear of the FP5. The actual cameras are below and not connected to these covers. Should the bull’s eyes ever get damaged and not serve their function anymore, the spare part would be the “top unit”:

You can also see in the spare parts shop that the cameras themselves are spare parts of their own, separate from the top unit.

Or is it “privacy covers” for the cameras that you are after, i.e. physical shields that serve to prevent unknowing use of your cameras to spy you out?

I guess a screen protector is meant ? E.g. available from Brotect

This screen protector comes with stickers for the cameras, too:

I’ve replaced them once already which is a bit tricky to peel them off but they protect against small scratches and are relatively cheap.

Thank you for your answers. To answer the first comments, in fact I would like to protect as much as possible in order to avoid having to buy the spare part, my objective is mainly preventive, that this kind of breakage happens as late as possible :slight_smile:

For the other comments precisely Brotech is not reliable, many people complain that the dimensions are bad and that the system does not hold. :slight_smile:

Nothing at all. I don‘t want to spoil the quality of the camera, just for the very unlikely case that I will ever drop my phone on a concrete floor.

hi, I had one set from Brotect, BROTECT AirGlass Glass Screen Protector for Fairphone 5 (ONLY Camera Lens) | protectionfilms24.com, and was OK-ayish with a fit (I wish they were bigger cause I now have scratches on a metal frame around), and afterwards ordered the set from Savies 6x Savvies Screen Protector for Fairphone 5 (ONLY Camera Lens) | protectionfilms24.com (to be perfectly honest I got them via Amazon but from the same seller). I am not certain (as I just replaced one of three) but it might be that Savies fit is minimally better
