Camera "downgrade" possible?

My mum just got her new fairphone 2 and I have one that still has the old camera module installed.
As she doesn’t use her camera for more than the occasional snapshot she suggested that we could swap the cameras in our phones. Is that possible? Or will the older camera not work in the newer phone?

Both the old and the new camera module should work in every FP2 that runs on an up-to-date operating system. So yes, a camera “downgrade” is possible. :slight_smile:

Be sure to keep the golden contacts of the modules clean. Otherwise they might not connect properly. :slight_smile:
