Camera Button just works as shutter

Hi everybody,

just received my FP2 and noticed that the camera button doesn’t behave the way it is described after first start. Pressing the button on Lock- or Homescreen doesn’t launch the camera app - nothing’ s happening at all. Once the App is startet via touchscreen the shutter-function works as expected.

Hi everybody,

This is a feature for me. I don’t want my phone to take pictures of my pockets/bags :smiley: I understand it’s a bug, in the sense that it doesn’t work as advertised. Therefore, if you fix this in the future, please provide an option to disable it! (Or at least point at the relevant diff so we can reverse it)

You have to press the shutter button for like 2 secs to activate the Camera App.

After putting my phone to sleep at night, everything works like a charm. Now I’m wondering if it was the phone needing to sleep or me just being too impatient to keep the button pressed for two whole seconds :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:.
