Call's not showing? Black screen on fp3 for incoming calls

I have my fp3 for three weeks now and have a mayor problem. When i get a call the screen stays black and after five times ringing stops. The caller gets the massage: ‘failed call’. What should i do…?

Thank you Another Elk.It turned out to be as you suggested: ‘show silent and minimize’ was on. I have one more question: is it possible to prolonge the time of the ringtone repeating?
