Browsers have no 'back' function - fairphone6

That’s just it. When I am in a browser (Chrome and Ecosia tested so far) I cannot find a back button to get back to the previous page after following a link. Not bottom left of the screen, not anywhere.

I’m aware that, as the poet says, the moving finger writes and, having writ, moves on and none of all they piety or wit, etc. etc.but this seems excessive.

That’s the gesture navigation that also puzzled me initially as a new FP6 user. ‘Back’ is done by swiping from the right border of the screen to the middle. You can enable the 3 button navigation, though: Get around on your Android device - Android Help

Hi, thank you so much! This helped me to solve a problem which really grated on my nerves for years :folded_hands:

I had initially the same problem.

Instead of using the gesture navigation, you could also use the 3 point navigation, the one I prefer. You find it in

“system" “touch gestures & movements" “navigation mode” “operation" via three buttons"

I hope I traduced wright from German.

In German: “System” “Touch-Gesten & Bewegungen” “Navigationsmodus” “Bedienung über drei Schaltflächen”
