I had thought about opening a post about living without Google Apps, so @jerry1970 set the ball rolling.

I thought that such links (with old topic names) automatically get forwarded to the correct urls with the new ones?! At least, I’m experiencing this behaviour with some bookmarks, where the topic name has changed.
