Hello everyone,
I need help. There are very loud static sounds during my bluetooth calls in the car (ford custom).
I can’t hear the other person. Although music and other functions work fine. Other phones don’t have this problem. Thanks you!
The difference between music and calling is in the Bluetooth profile which is used. Can you reproduce the issue when calling via a messenger app (Signal, Conversations, Whatsapp, …)? Does the static noise start immediately when the call is trying to be established?
What I’d try: Delete the car from your Bluetooth settings and the phone from your car’s settings, then connect again. If that doesn’t help I’d enable the developer settings and find the Bluetooth codecs. Maybe by changing codecs back and forth it might work. Also check if your car’s entertainment system is up to date.
In general there shouldn’t be a systematic problem. I don’t own a car but whenever I rented one I have never had issues with the BT connection so far (and I think a Ford has been among them, too).
Thanks you,
Car’s entertainment is up to date.
I tried to delete, it doesn’t work
And it’s the sames problème with whatsapp call, the static noise start immediately when the call is trying to be established.
I also tried to change the codec, but there is just on choise SBC…
It worked at first, for a few months
That’s an important puzzle piece. What has changed since then? Any software updates?
I don’t remember, but I don’t think there was an update.
Can we find the update dates, or delete them? Thanks
There you have the updates by their release dates:
As far as I know it is possible to go back, but only by installing from scratch again. So I doubt that this is an option… But you could go through the release notes and check if there is anything that sounds suspicious too you.
Thanks for all,
I’m gonna try to reset the fp5
