Black screen in confcall app

I use the BTmeetMe App and can use it properly because the screen turns black.
If I’m the Host, I can use the panel. Worst is I can not even hang up with power bottom but need to take out battery!
If I’m a participant I can not use the panel to insert a conf call code
Has anybody a solution or faced similar problems with same / other apps?
Is it a SW or HW problem?

Hi Paul - thanks for first reply. I already (physically) exchanged the Proximity Sensor. This helped fixing the ‘black screen’ while using the phone but not the ConfCall App
