Every time I unlock the FP6 (Murena) if I attempt to use it straight away, the OS is completely unresponsive for 3-5 seconds. You either have to wait for the lag, or lock and then unlock it again to use it. Has anyone else experienced this?

This might not be particularly helpful, but I don’t experience this on my /e/OS FP6. No matter how many apps are open, everything responds immediately once the phone is unlocked.

Yes, I have the same problem woth Android 15, exactly as you described. I have not been able to figure out what causes this, as it occurs frequently, but not always.
Users in the /e/OS forum report the issue as well. In one case an update to 3.5 seems to have solved the problem.

I have a similar problem. Since the update, when I unlock my phone, only my background image is displayed without any app icons. I can then either swipe from left to right to see the last opened app, or I have to press the multitasking button. There have also been times when pressing the multitasking button did nothing at all during normal use. The system update has made the device worse. A €600 device. It’s infuriating.
Agree, it’s super frustrating. Feels like a pretty major issue.
I hope you report this to the developer of e/OS, here is the FP forum , so reporting it here, will not solve it.

Aren’t the releases tested on FP6 prior to release though? There’s clearly an issue with compatibility
I dont know what Murena is doing. When you have issues with e/OS best is to inform Murena
