I’ve been having problems being able to download content on the BBC I player Radio App here in the UK.
I used to be able to download content to listen to later, but for the last few months its not worked. Each time I click download it starts 1%, 2%, 3% then stops saying download failed. I thought this might have been corrected by creating an an I player account, but with no luck.
Deleting the app data and cache (Settings > Apps) solved this for me in the past. The BBC do now force you to log in to a BBC account, so that wasn’t a wasted effort if you’re okay with the data they now harvest and with what they now use the data for (this was recently significantly expanded).
