Auto popup of keyboard/biometric not always working since last update

Hello,

I have the feeling, that since the last update, the keyboard or the biometric popup is not always working. I’m not sure, if this is a Fairphone problem or rather from an app.

For example when I use my JTX Board widget to add a todo: The keyboard doesn’t automatically pop up, I have to tap on the text area first. That was different in the past.

Also from a bankking app I’m using, the automatic popup for biometric authentication is not working. I always have to tap on the “Login with fingerprint”.

Did you experience the same behavior?

Same problem here, sometimes the keyboard does not pop up. Different applications. Colleagues reported the same issue.

@Leonieke you might need to add more details and if not working at all or just an additional step is needed?

Overall I think its best to report to Fairphone support
