Augmented reality via ARCore not available on FP4?

Hi, I’ve just noticed that it’s not possible to run augmented reality apps on FP4, as they tell ARCore is not installed, and ARCore package is not available in Google Play for this device. Does anybody have some more information about AR on FP4? I think all required sensors are there, so it should not be a HW limitation…

Heyhey, I’m an AR developer and am allowed to choose a new company phone right now. I couldn’t find out whether the Fairphone 4 supports ARCore… I only found threads on the older models and that they don’t. Does anyone know more? Thanks!

A category is not a tag, i.e. a post can only be in one category.
But now there’s yours here in the FP4 category, so people would find the info via the post marked as solution I guess.
