Liking my new FP6. However, the functionality in the car is a big step backwards (for me) as will not link to mirrorlink which I understand is somewhat outdated. So I now use bluetooth which works fine for calls and music. I would like to use my FP6 for hands free calling and texting whilst driving.
So wondered is there an app for FP6 that will facilitate hands free calling and texting whilst in the car? The website says Google Gemini is the default app for this purpose but I cannot get it working.
For some reason there is no “Hey Google” function in app settings that apparently needs to be enabled in order to activate and without which the phone does not hear me. Oddly gemini can do live chat but cannot action calling or texting in that mode. So wondered if there is another way/app and would be nice to not use google/amazon if possible???
