Yes there is actually a regression with Android 6 regarding the proximity sensor and the calibration . The calibration data is not taken into account and hence you are going back to the “old” behaviour if you had to calibrate in the first place. Re-calibrating the proximity sensor will not solve the problem. As pointed out by @paulakreuzer , cleaning the lens on the Display Module has always been a nice trick to improve the sensor behaviour without re-calibrating. We have identifi…
