They promised to have learned from all this, but they prove this wrong far too often.

“Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me” as the saying goes. At this point I don’t understand why people seem to be surprised when Fairphone breaks promises like Duplantis breaks world records.

Fairphone ghosting people when it comes to OS updates has apparently always been an issue. Here’s a thread from 2017 for example:

@moderators EDIT: Moved from here as this was getting off-topic. But do they work on Marshmallow? We don’t know and we have to assume and trust that they work on something. After a few months that faith wears off. For me it would be better to have a bi-weekly blog entry saying: look we had 2 devs work on software and this is what they have achieved and what they failed to achieve during the last 2 weeks.
