on my Fairphone 6 and Fairphone 4 with Android <= 15, I used to see the time of the next alarm clock on the lockscreen. Since I updated to Android 16, it is not shown anymore. Is this expected behavior under A16 or am I missing something?

lockscreen when AoD is enabled? I still have a notification on the lockscreen, however since some time (Android Versions) its only showing shortly before the actual alarm time.
I’ve checked on A15 and it shows 12 hours in advance. When you set an alarm for <12h does it show? <4 hours maybe?
with or without AoD? without AoD it def does and never did not show up hours before maybe 1h max and its the same on the FP5 for me.
Yes, both on the AoD and lock screen - FP6, Android 15.
Hmmm ok I guess I never paid attention, just noted on the FP5 indeed I see the alarm time on the lockscreen beside the date just the notifocation shows up shortly before the set time…
Thanks for your comments. But if I read it correctly, you’re both using A15, right? What about users who already made the update to A16. Is the upcoming alarm still visible to you?
No I’m on A16 and dont see it on the lock screen, best is you report it to support.
FP6 on A16 here. I get a notification <2 hours. The notification is visible on the lockscreen, but it’s not displayed as it used to be on A15.
The notification <2 hours before the alarm is somethings else. The notifications allows you to easily dismiss the alarm early and it’s completely dependent on the Clock app itself, unlikely there is any special integration with the OS.
This thread is specifically about the small “
6:30” text under the clock on the lock screen (and AoD clock) that let’s you quickly check that there is an alarm set in the next 12h (ex. to make sure you’ve set the alarm for the morning when going to bed in the evening).

Same issue with me. On my Fairphone 3, which I used to have, whenever I set the alarm, an icon would appear in the status bar at the top right, confirming that the app was active. That’s no longer the case. It’s not a big deal, but it can catch you out – which is what happened to me. I was convinced I’d set the alarm, when in fact I hadn’t, and there was no way to check by simply glancing at the screen. The result: I missed my train. The cost of the delay: 278 euros…
