After reboot WiFi Call Icon disappears

Yeah, that’s it. As You can see red marked, after rebooting my FP6 it shows me “WLAN Call” and that accordingly icon.

But for a really short moment then it quickly disappeared and never comes back again except proceed a new reboot.

Is this a known bug or something else?

I’m on FP6.QREL.15.151.0, T-Mobile Germany, 5G, physical SIM, Wifi Call activated (and supported by provider).

As far as I know Telekom has no subsettings for wifi Calling. I guess you have mobile connection thus no wifi Calling available in that moment?

With O2, VF, 1&1 you can choose

Thanks for moving my post to a new thread. On my FP6 with T-Mobile I have this options

Yes thats what I meant.

You will not have wifi calling as long as you have network coverage.

Discussed here e.g.

Alright, thanks for the clarification. I’ve tested by enabling flight mode and then wifi and… it works!

So for me as long I have mobile coverage by T-Mobile any call will go through this pipeline - not wifi. My understanding was that for calls it go via wifi even mobile connection is activated but now I see on my FP6 the priority seems like another than on some other phones. It’s okay for me. Maybe this tiny “bug” will be fixed further.

Maybe I’m going to open a thread at Telekom’s forum an post their solution here if I get some accordingly to the FP6.

From what I read thats not device related, thats how Telekom wants it, see the Tkom topic I linked in the other topic

Ich habe in der Zwischenzeit mit der Technik noch einmal Rücksprache gehalten. Eine manuelle Bevorzugung von WLAN Call ist nicht vorgesehen, da die Priorisierung weiterhin auf dem mobilen Netz liegt

That’s really interesting because on my old Samsung phone with same SIM I was also connected to both and every time I made a call the phone’s UI showed me this small WiFi icon next to that phone icon that the call will be a WiFi Call.
