Advice please - USIM Service-> network failure

Hi there,
I was hoping someone would be able to advise me about the following -
I keep getting a popup notice saying:
‘USIM Service
Network failure, please restart you handset’

This started after I returned to the UK, having been abroad (in a non-EU country) for several weeks, using a local SIM card. When I got the local card, the guy at the shop messed around with some of the SIM definitions. I thought I returned everything to the way it was before, but perhaps I missed something. Any suggestions as to what might be the problem?

(needless to say that I have restarted my handset several times since this started… :slight_smile: ).


Maybe the guy finally messed up not entirely knowing what he was doing. Hopefully you did not pay for this “service”.

It is not easy to track down this problem. At least I couldn´t, sorry.
