Whenever I switch my phone on in the morning, gmail won’t sync/download new messages. I have to restart the phone every morning to get it to download messages. Automatic sync is on. I also pressed “sync now” in settings but nothing happened. It showed that the last time it synced was before I switched it off the previous evening. It doesn’t seem to make a difference, whether the phone is connected to wifi or a mobile network.
