Hi,
on a winter trekking tour my FP suddenly alarmed that the battery is too hot, I should immediately remove it. In fact it was quite cold. The FP was in the outer pocket of my jacket, which might have been a little humid. No special software was running. I switched the phone off. Later everything was fine.
On the next day - another trekking tour at frost and snow - the same alarm after some hours. This time I ignored it and nothing happened - the phone worked, the battery was still cool and there was no significant decrease of the battery charge level.
Since then I had that alarm no more…
